A historical and must see place when you are walking around in Kiev.

It was a part of Kiev protection wall (fortress) Nice place located at the middle of the city, near embassies of European Union countries like Poland, France, Italy and ... . people always selling flowers in front of the entrance. Mcdonald's is also can be reached with a 5 minute walk. Don't know if it is always open or not but plan to visit it at least once; may be on the way home.

Nice place. The Golden Gate itself - it's a new one building on the same historical place. But the square around very nice and cozy. Try Pantagruel restaurant. You'll love it

I was surprised by the size of the place. Right in the middle of apartment complex and metro. A small museum as well, if you are a history buff you will enjoy visiting here.

When you haven't been much around in Eastern Europe to see culture and architecture... It looks very different from Norway where I come from...
