A wonderful cemetery, quiet, cozy. There are many graves of priests, monks, beautiful monuments in honor of the Soviet soldiers who liberated Kiev.

In the cemetery is the grave of Czechoslovak soldiers, members of the 1st Czechoslovak Independent Brigade in the USSR, the exile army of Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia, who fell in November 1943 during the liberation of Kiev. The Czechoslovak brigade fought as one of the few allies after the Red Army, during the liberation of Kiev and left-bank Ukraine. The grave is exemplary reconstructed and regularly maintained by the Czech side. Occasionally, reverential commemorative events are held here and pays tribute to fallen Czechoslovaks.
