In 1998, at the request of Bishop Joasaph, by decision of the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration Mykhailo Vyshivanyuk, the cathedral was transferred to the Ivano-Frankivsk Eparchy of the UOC-Kyiv Patriarchate, which became a cathedral. Repair and restoration works were carried out in the cathedral, the church was painted, the iconostasis was installed. The wall painting was made by the artist Vasyl Chopyk. There are choirs at the cathedral: Bishop's (mixed) - conductor Mykhailo Zamrozevych, conductor Maria Yuzyuk. There is a Sunday school at the cathedral. Classes every Saturday, beginning at 2 p.m. At the cathedral there is a publishing house of spiritual literature.
