Great place for shopping for groceries and other household items. It's not as expensive as other malls.

Perhaps it is not so fair of me to pass negative comments on Velmart, because firstly I am from the UK and not Ukraine, so culturally I have difficulty with foodstuffs in Ukraine, and I am not ever really comfortable in Ukraine supermarkets.... That said, Velmart supermarket has a few smells like open raw meats and a general need of refurbishment in the building, that simply raises my discomfort to a higher than usual level. On the upper floors are clothing and technology shops, beauty salons, bowling, billiards etc, I am fine with them. Just the supermarket, in Ukrainian style, hits my discomfort buttons....
