Church of Nativity, built in 1808. Start of construction according to different sources dates back to 1756 and 1788 years. Built it at the expense of one of the locals G. Semeniuk, which according to popular legend, so wanted to atone for his sins. Construction of the temple took about 20 years.

The church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Four stars, not five put because due to the fact that in the 90s of the twentieth century. old shingle-floors were replaced quite usual and nothing unremarkable buckle. From this the church only lost its authenticity and attractiveness. Aura adds time to construction - the second half of the XVIII century

Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a historical shrine. The building is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sundays and every religious holiday are held here by Divine Services. The chorus is wonderful. The building is old and rather grounded. There are many tourists. The church is located in the glorious village of Nizhnyaya Verbizh, Kolomyia district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. I invite everyone to visit. You will not regret it! Here you can still buy educational literature.

The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is part of a collection of wooden churches from the UNESCO heritage. For over 50 years, the church was built by Grigor Melnyk, who lived for 114 years and was buried in the church. Next to the church is an ancient cemetery, where all the crosses have inscriptions in Ukrainian and decorated with a classic Hutsul flower-six-leaf! It is interesting that the men on the crosses were called completely by name and surname, and women by name only, as wives or daughters of the respective men.

The question is: why was it beaten with tin? The authenticity is gone. Unfortunately.
