Old cemetery

Strange as it may sound, but this place is the most tolerant. In this land rest people of different nationalities and ideologies, who would be willing to kill each other during their lives, and here they lie quietly nearby. For example, soldiers of the Austrian and German armies lie alongside soldiers of the Russian army during the First World War. UPA soldiers and Soviet army soldiers are also lying nearby. No one in the cemetery is a Wehrmacht soldier. How politically expedient it is to me is difficult to estimate, but from the side of city history, these soldiers should be here. The cemetery generally began with the burial of civilians. Here are buried both Catholics and Orthodox, atheists ....... At the burial place you can see what was the national composition of the population. The vast majority are Ukrainians (Ruthenians), Poles, there are several burials of Austrians. The cemetery is cleaned but I would not say enough. Taken according to nationality, the gravest of the Austrians and Soviet soldiers after the war was not the most decorated. Many monuments have been destroyed due to the fall of trees, both from the wind and during tree cutting by volunteers. Even more sad statistics of broken monuments are supplemented by vandals who break monuments through metal.
