The Tisza is in Hungarian hearts like the Niemen in Polish

We visited this historic place on an organized tour. It was built at that time for a pure and noble purpose. It's not a big attraction in itself, it's more important to us because of its historical past.

Monument erected in 1906. In 1944 the Russian army took down the Tula bird and kept the Hungarians hiding in the cellar of Munkács Castle. In 1989 it was replaced again.
