In 1714, Colonel Ivan Sulima founded a hamlet on the Zhuravka River. During 1902-1903, funds were raised for the construction of a church in the village of Sulimovka. At that time, a Polish noblewoman, Elizaveta Dzevonovska, lived on her Sulim estate. She set aside a plot of land for the church, and later placed a carved gilded iconostasis in it, and her daughter Rosa presented the church with a picturesque icon of Golgotha. In 1905, the wooden Holy Church was built by Master Kabanov. In 1930, with the formation of the collective farm, the church was closed. The iconostasis is broken by Komsomol members, bells and crosses are lowered as with all churches. And then the church is used as a granary. In 1942, during the German occupation, the church was opened and worship was resumed. Father Stefan Kisly, a native of Yahotyn, became the abbot. He served until 1948. After that, until 1959, the parish was cared for by Father Mikhail Makeev, who was the rector of St. Nicholas Church in the village of Lozovy Yar. In 1959, during Khrushchev's persecution, the church was re-closed and housed a museum (according to other sources, the economic structure). In 1989, the villagers petitioned for the opening of a church. Anna Trokhimivna Pohybenko, a former teacher at a local school, did a lot to open the church.
