Square at place of ancient Jewish Gates- similar to Golden Gates. Also it was old Jewish Bazar market at this place.

For me personally, the area is uncomfortable, although there is a small green square with a monument to little Anna Yaroslavivna, but the feeling that you are in a big hive - on all sides quite noisy traffic flow, which can not be disconnected.
