The history of the medical college began in September 1936 with the opening of a two-year school of nurses and midwives in Novograd-Volynsky. Over the years, the school has been reorganized several times: school, courses, school, college. More than one generation of medical professionals has prepared a medical facility. The educational institution carries out training of specialists in the field of knowledge 1201 "Medicine" in the specialties: 5.12010102 - Nursing, Qualification Nurse 5.12010101 - "Medical", qualification - paramedic. The school opened a department of postgraduate education for advanced training of secondary medical professionals, runs courses of medical massage and cosmetology, created an emergency training center for training with students, practitioners and paramedics. The College of Medicine provides general education to high school graduates. The educational institution has an agreement on cooperation in further education of students in the specialty "Physical Rehabilitation" with Zaporizhzhya National University. Co-operation with KIBIT continues in the direction of in-depth training of specialists. Medical College has an agreement on cooperation with Zhytomyr State University. In the framework of which she successfully works in the educational and scientific-methodical complex "Polesie". According to the results of this work, a plan of joint activity on the issues of research work, development of modern technologies, advanced training of teachers, improvement of educational and methodological and logistical support was created.
