In 2010, the conservation work of the Legionnaires' monument (memorial plate and obelisk) in Rafajłowa, financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, was carried out and a grave of Krystian Stercel, killed in the forest guard's service, was rebuilt at the local cemetery. In 2015, the next stage was started. two plates with the names of the fallen Legionnaires and the third, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Republic of Rafajłowska, were placed at the monument.
