Hotel Butterfly

Quite good. But to my mind, it's this post sovietic style, esteriormente looks nice and luxurious, but inside you see it's made from cheep materials, for instance the walls are very thick so you can hear your neighbours

It's okay, if you want to get out of the city and disconnect for awhile, but you can find much of the same accommodations at a better price within the Vinnytsia city limits. The zip line is a unique feature, because it is so long, but the ropes course at the Vyschenka lake is another alternative. I found the price to be a bit steep for what you get. The admission price per day isn't bad and probably they way I would come in the future. I found the rooms to be adequate, but nothing impressive and quite basic. Poor lighting and an unorthodox shower, but there wasn't much noise from adjoining rooms which was nice. The family room is 1400 a night, which is wasn't too bad. They didn't provide a hot water heater (чайник) for tea though. I had the opportunity to chat with the business owner briefly and can understand some of the choices they made given the location and dealing with the unruly side of party-goers. What I'd like to highlight is that the staff was ALWAYS very helpful, pleasant, and professional. I am impressed. Still though, it isn't bad, and we had a good time. The pools are a bit crowded, but this is understandable being in the midst of the COVID pandemic summer; harder to travel and people are desperate to rest. I didn’t meet anyone who volunteered to speak English with me after hearing my less than perfect Ukrainian accent and grammar, so you may have difficulty here without knowing Ukr/Rus language. The biggest surprise was that I had to pay in cash for the hotel, even though you can use a credit card for meals. Perhaps it was a technical problem that day.

Best place to stay

The resort is beautiful. However: No phones in the rooms. Dead insects in the room my entire 2 week stay. No self serve laundry. The free Shuttle was not available daily and when it was it was not free. Toilet paper roulette... Butterfly is close to 4 or 5 stars. They need to improve.
