Ilyinetskaya astroblema (translated from Latin as a star wound) is one of the oldest in the world, in Ukraine there are only 7 meteorite craters. Formed from the fall of a meteorite (size 230-300 meters, weight 40 million tons), the diameter of the crater is 7 km, a meteorite fell to Earth 400 million years ago. The local granite changed its density, density, color and became like sandstone. Granite, the hardest stone on Earth and this is how the explosion changed it, which can be compared to the explosion of a 120-megaton bomb!
