Staryy Yevreysʹkyy Tsvyntar

We dropped in here by chance attracted by the yard of old moss-covered statues. Many of them are falling apart. Gloomy yet peaceful ambience of an old cemetery, mostly old Polish tombs dated mid 19th - early 20th century. The graveyard is rather abandoned, so you'll have to walk in high grass.

Here you can see a monument to the soldiers of the Polish troops who died in the battles with the Ukrainian Galician Army. There are also tombstones in the form of angels, saints, people and other symbolic characters. Similar monuments can be seen at the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv. They are made of sandstone and concrete.
