I turned to the Vetdent on the recommendation of another veterinarian who had previously had an appointment with my dog ​​- a Russian toy, 8 years old, 1400 kg. The dog had huge problems with the teeth and gums, the mobility of the lower jaw (my fault, I started it), 2 weeks before the consultation, the gums were bleeding heavily almost every day. The doctor who sent us to Vyacheslav Nikolayevich suggested bone lysis and said that only a competent dentist can help here, and after the removal of problem teeth, the lower jaw may hang, this was confirmed by another doctor. We made an appointment, I realized in red that I would have to remove his teeth - this is a general anesthesia, which can be very risky for a dog with such weight and endocardial changes of I-II degree. At the reception, Vyacheslav Nikolayevich explained everything very clearly and in detail what and how could be in this or that case. Yes, we took biochemistry and a general blood test before the operation, we did ultrasound and ECHO-KG in another clinic even before we made an appointment here. Every day the dog became more and more painful, he generally ceased to be happy and communicate with us, he just lay in his place, began to go out for walks without enthusiasm. The operation was successful, tomorrow it will be a week, all the remaining teeth were removed, plus he has sores on his tongue from a constant focus of infection in the oral cavity. To say that it is better for him to say nothing, he has become 5 years younger, has become active and playful, which has not happened for a long time and he is absolutely not worried about the lack of teeth, his jaw has not dropped, he copes well with eating. On the day of the operation, Vyacheslav Nikolaevich called me 2 times, informed me about the condition of the dog, and in the evening the doctor on duty. The next day I was able to take him home, it should be noted that his condition impressed me very much, he ate and behaved as if nothing had happened.
