I was forbidden to measure me on my bare foot (there are no complaints here), but they argued not because it was unhygienic, but because the sole was light, and I got dirty. Immediately there was an explanation for this strange choice of argument: I was offered socks, which had already been very, very many legs. That is, we are not talking about hygiene at all, only about the preservation of appearance. I didn’t want to get into public socks, I stayed in ordinary cotton ones, even though it significantly distorted the appearance. I asked for a fitting of all the sandals of a certain company that fit me in size. Since, depending on the manufacturer, my size ranges from 37 to 40, I said that the length of the foot was 24.5 cm. I received a surprised and completely incomprehensible look. That is, they did not hear about dimensional grids there. Yes, and they said that they could not see the size by eye. Averaged to 38-39, got a few models for a fitting. Of them there was a pair with a comfortable sole, but she had weak stickies. The seller assured me that they would last at least two years. Before you buy, I wanted to make sure that they are comfortable not only in the sole. After three sticky stickings, the seller finally got into a fuss and said that I would “kill” her velcro right here. On the question of how promised two years, she replied that later I would buy them, and it will be clear there. After that, I could not stand it and left without a purchase. No, I understand that the seller is responsible for the goods (with his head, perhaps?), But somehow it’s not very pleasant to feel when choosing a sloping kitten. And even quite the opposite. The store is product-oriented, and customers should come and immediately buy, preferably without feeling. And then think what she thought of - she decided to pick up comfortable orthopedic shoes. PS: in the other store, larger, the seller brought me all (!) Models of the right size (along the length of the foot, yes), even those that I did not ask for (they would suddenly be more comfortable), and did not shake every fitting. Barefoot shoes bought, for shoes in the fall I will go there too.
