The institution is cozy, it was barely found, although it is known to many people in Podil in Zhytomyr, where you can buy an icon of the Mother of God of Podolsk. I recommend to everyone.

Beautiful temple in Zhytomyr! Once in every city there was a division. In Zhytomyr too. On the Podil in Zhytomyr stands the Assumption (Podilsky) church. She is over 100 years old. Initially, there was a wooden temple in its place. But it was too small, so it was decided to disassemble, and to build a stone site, which was built for 20 years. Interesting: A hundred years ago, they installed a furnace inside so that it would not be cold in the winter and made electric lighting. When the temple was closed, the main icon - the miraculous image of the Divine Mother of God was hidden. Because with the advent of communist power, the church was looted, a warehouse and then an archive set up. When Ukraine's independence was proclaimed, the temple reopened and the icon was returned to the cathedral. This icon gives special patronage to the sick and upset who turn to it.
