Church Of The Nativity Of The Blessed Virgin Mary

The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, or Malaga Prechista, is a religious holiday of the Christian Church in honor of the Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus Christ, who is one of the twelve holidays. Celebrated annually by the Orthodox on September 21, by Catholics on September 8. It is emphasized on this day that the Mother of God is the great righteous, helper and patron saint of the people, the patron saint of agriculture, who, by the birth of Christ, made the first step to the eternal salvation of all men.
