It's an alright place, good for an occasional pint. You can definitely see that the owner and a cook and a bartender is the same person, so on one hand it's cool that it's family owned, and they do try hard, but on the other hand of course if there are more than 3 tables occupied it will cause some delays. Ah, and the music is a bit cringy at times. Otherwise - why not to support the very local business?

We had extremely unpleasant experience with a big party of more than 15 people. Booked in advance and were offered a balcony area. After we realized the area is too small for all people, we asked to move to an empty downstairs. The bartender/owner agreed without a comment. All evening bar had 3 visitors, two of them were friends of a bartender. In the end we were presented with a bill that had additional 1000 hryvnias in it as a rent of a fist floor and compensation of “three bookings” he had to cancel. And 10% service charge. When we tried to dispute 1000 hryvnias and asked why we were not told about it beforehand, we were told “we didn’t want to UPSET you” and “what is 1000 hryvnias for you?”. Well, only 20% of the whole bill! That sentiment was repeated by a rude friend of a bartender who suddenly included himself into our conversation. 1000 hryvnias was not dropped and we were “kindly” offered to not pay any tips. Then it turned that 10% service charge on the bill was not a tip, but a payment to non-existing kitchen people. Which we, again, had to pay (kitchen cooked us 5 plates of chicken wings and other beer snacks, how demanding!). Overall service was slow as the bartender and “the kitchen” are the same person and simply cannot handle big crowds. They may have made extra 1500 on us, but definitely lost more in potential, as we or any of our friends WILL NOT return

No premier league matches, a single staff member tried to be the bar man and cook. I felt bad asking for anything bc it's clear the ownership has given up
