Small, cozy park. Good for a casual walk. Probably the most interesting place is the lake, which is home to a relatively large number of animals - from (small) turtles to ducks. In general, in this park you find yourself in the atmosphere of a classic Ukrainian farm right in the middle of the city. Entrance from an adult 100 UAH as of June 2020. Parking: this street is not particularly suitable for parking, when the lane is parked, the traffic becomes more difficult, it is ideal to look for parking nearby within 5 minutes of walking.

To be honest, I still don't understand whether it's a park or not, it seems to me that the parks look a little different, for me it's just a forest with paths and tributaries of the Dnieper, but far from a park ...

Pokol Park is a park in the Goloseevsky district of Kiev, on the territory of the Pokol tract, with a total area of about 73 hectares. It is part of the Goloseevsky landscape park. From a biological point of view, the park is a deciduous floodplain forest. In the park is the famous Kiev waterfall (near the dam at the place of water discharge to the Dnieper). Galerny island also belongs to the park. Empress Catherine the Second visited the island, accompanied by Grigory Potemkin. The tsarina expressed a desire to continue to sail from the Dnieper from Kiev. For this purpose, several dozens of galleys were built in Smolensk - large rowing ships, as well as hundreds of small vessels. From the spring of 1786 they waited a whole year below the tract Telichka, in the bay, which then, like the island, was called Galerny. The squadron sailed from Kiev on April 22, 1787, stretching for almost three miles.

Nature is mesmerizing, but garbage reminds us that there are people here who do not care about the environment.
