A majestic monument to Bohdan Khmelnytsky in our regional center was erected on Privokzalna Square near the railway station in the 1950s. In early 1954, the country widely celebrated the 300th anniversary of the reunification of Ukraine with Russia. On the occasion of this event, in honor of the prominent statesman B. Khmelnytsky, the city of Proskuriv was renamed Khmelnytsky, and Kamyanets-Podilsky region - Khmelnytsky. So, the question arose about the installation of a monument to the hetman in the regional center. One of the best sculptors of that time - folk artists of Ukraine MK Vronsky and OP Oliynyk, architect O. Sydorenko undertook the execution of this monument. These were well-known, talented artists, winners of the Stalin Prize for sculpture of Taras Shevchenko in Kyiv. The work was completed in six months. Therefore, on July 31, 1955, on the Railwayman's Day, a monument to B. Khmelnytsky was solemnly unveiled on Privokzalna Square. The monument is a full-figure reinforced concrete sculpture 3.5 m high, raised on a four-sided brick pedestal 4 m high.

The station has plenty of space for the waiting. Parking is great. Station building is usual. Near the fountain, there are many lavas and people, and they are also looking for locks. You should be careful. Everywhere there is a way, everything is a breeze, coffee, dough. "Mamin bread" at the bus stop you can dine, and next to a private bank (ATM) and offices and many shops. From the station there is a nearby bus station, departure every 2 hours. The price for Kiyiv 250 hryvnias (and possibly even at night).
