I was waiting for a traumatologist for 1 hour in the office because someone called him. I feel sorry for the people standing in the hallway. Horror

Kosiv Hospital was built in 1908. Construction continued from 1905 to 1908. The hospital was hastily opened due to the syphilis epidemic. Hospital treatment was mostly paid. Some participation in the medical care of the insured was taken by the insurance fund - the "sick fund", the funds of which mostly consisted of contributions from the insured workers and employees. According to the quality of service, the wards in the hospital were divided into classes. The wards of the first class were better equipped, the patients were better fed here. The cost of staying in these wards was three times higher than the cost of staying in third-class wards. The fee was set at 2 to 12 zlotys per day. The hospital was designed for 50 beds. There was 1 doctor and 6 paramedics in the states. Most of the seriously ill patients were hospitalized. The hospital and staff were maintained at the expense of income received from patients who were hospitalized. Until 1939, the hospital performed 75-90 surgeries during the year. For each operation it was necessary to pay an additional 10 to 30 zlotys. In 1939-1941, the hospital had 100 beds, including tuberculosis beds. The treatment was free. The hospital employed doctors, mostly of Jewish nationality. The hospital was headed by Dr. Maximilian Yosafatovych Karp. He was a surgeon by profession. On January 24, 1941, by order № 8, Dr. Simkh was appointed director of the state medical hospital. Beginning in July 1941 (Order No. 45 of July 21, 1941), inpatient treatment was paid. Only seriously ill people were admitted to the hospital and paid 20 rubles. daily. The patient paid the amount of 200 rubles upon admission to treatment. in the form of a deposit, and for the extremely poor paid by the local commissariat. From September 20, 1941, payment for treatment was made in zlotys, and one day of inpatient treatment cost 6 zlotys, and an outpatient appointment - 4 zlotys. In 1971, construction began on a 120-bed hospital along with a 250-visit clinic. In August 1974, the hospital was put into operation, the grand opening of which took place on August 31, 1974. The hospital was expanded to 300 beds. After the expansion of the hospital in 1974, the number of outpatient specialties increased. In 1989, the hospital opened a intensive care unit with 6 beds, and in 1999 - a intensive care unit with two beds for children. In 1995, the hospital had 395 beds, and since 2000 has 360 beds. Outpatient admission is carried out in 25 specialties. Over the last ten years, the positions of pediatric specialists have been introduced - surgeon, traumatologist, psychiatrist, ophthalmologist, otolaryngologist, neurologist; neurosurgery.
