Vorokhta Regional Bone and Tuberculosis Sanatorium "Smerichka" among sanatoriums of Ukraine is unique in its profile, location and history. As a sanatorium, hospital, health resort, he uses a large set of natural factors to heal patients. The sanatorium is located in the village of Vorokhta at the level of 870 - 890 m above sea level among coniferous, coniferous-deciduous forests at the foot of Mount Hoverla. It has historically been the case that tuberculous lesions of the lungs, bones and joints, anemia, and a decrease in the human body's defenses have been treated in the mountains. The village of Vorokhta as a resort is mentioned in the chronicles of the mid-seventeenth century. At the end of the XIX and the beginning of the XX century the corners of the Carpathians were visited by Ivan Franko, Les Martovych, Lesya Ukrainka. Throughout its history, the institution has undergone numerous reorganizations, associations, layoffs and has become not just a health, but a serious medical rehabilitation center. The combination of different profiles and age groups of patients, which none of the sanatoriums of Ukraine has, determines the importance and necessity of the institution for the region.

Just awful! Don't leave children there! The wards have old pillows in spots, mattresses too, the furniture is old, very old. They are over 15 years old. Educators shout at children, beat younger ones. I witnessed this. Educators and nurses make them sleep at lunch, and they also interfere. At noon I woke up frightened because the nurse came in and shouted loudly at everyone because the children did not make the bed because it was hot or they could not sleep. Because according to the rules, beds should be made during sleepy nights and at night, and then they should be made. They shout at anyone who does not want to eat, threatening the child that she will not go to the store with others. On the street, children can spend up to 2.5 hours - no more. The sockets in the hallway where children can charge their phones will sparkle. Children are treated very superficially and contemptuously. If a child starts crying, they start shouting at her. When you go for inhalations, you can very rarely get there, because they have no electricity, no water, no time. Near the sanatorium 1-2 meters from it is an old sanatorium, which is in disrepair. Nearby is a track and train station, which almost every day children go to go to the store, to the football or volleyball field, it is not fenced. And yet: there is very rarely mobile communication.

Who wants chickenpox - a bagpipe in the sanatorium "Smerichka" in the village of Vorokhta! They took and continue to take children there. There sick children are not isolated from others. They continue to communicate and huddle with other healthy children. And what should they do if The younger ones come to the older ones because they are bored sitting in the ward, and instead they treat them to something tasty and let them play on the phone. There is no daily doctor's examination in the sanatorium, we brought the sick child home, and a few days later she started having chickenpox. Don't send them to Smerichka.
