Here, Dr. Apollinarius Tarnavsky and his family have run a sanatorium with a vegetarian restaurant since 1891, which has become one of the most famous centers of non-vegetarianism in Eastern Europe. And everything was not based on Indian vegetarian cuisine, but on Galician, with the influences of classical Ukrainian, Hutsul, Polish, Austrian cuisines - and a little European from the French and Italian traditions. These people published a book about vegetarian cuisine, which was republished many times from Lviv to London, and was known around the world. It is good that this place is still a sanatorium, but it is a pity that it is the heritage of the Tarnavskys that is declining ...
