Kondytersʹka "Smiyan"

Wouldn't say that it is something unique, tasty, but not as much as expected. Once tasted a chocolate cake and was a little disappointed. Air conditioner seems to be working but due to the door which was kept opened - there was no sense in cooling air.

Very tasty sweet snacks and good coffee. Pets are allowed. Always crowd of people. And all order birthday cakes.

I attended this venue on my trip to Kiev. Disliked the experience. On entering the venue, accidentally I have not closed the door behind me in full (it did not close lightly). On seeing it, one of their customers - in the presence of staff - started verbally assaulting me in English. I interpreted to the staff what was said (in Ukrainian). In response, they said they cannot get involved since he is their paying customer. Frankly, in that particular situation, it was off putting to hear something like this from the member of the team. When I asked to speak to the Manager (Anastasiya), she called me and simply laughed into my face on hearing the situation. I asked to be contacted about it by the Owner. In response, I was told he's abroad and when he is back, he'll contact me. As I suspected, he has never done so. These people have to learn the basics of what a good customer service is. I was disheartened to witness something like this. Ukrainians are known to be welcoming as people. This experience does not fit into this description. Hope, on reading this feedback, they reflect. On my part, I've been avoiding this place since then. All they seem to care about is money.

This place seems to have changed the owner recently, and now is much less cosy. Very expensive cakes, a 150g piece can easily cost more than 90 uah. Tasty yes, but still tooooooo expensive.

Highly recommend this place!!! Nice service, good coffee, clean place, definitely coming back!!! Keep it up guys 👍
