Keller

Keller bar is represented by the good known BSF Family of Kiev based promoters and event organisers (please, feel free to make a point if I am wrong). The venue combines two formats: the electronic music bar and the small club. Having the good outside terrace Keller is throwing the dedicated events every weekend. The diversity of the music varies from house and breakbeat to techno and jungle. The prices for the entrance are middle Average and probably any visitor can afford it. The artists are usually decent as well as the promo groups that are invited for collaboration. One of the good things to mention is the perfect dj set up including Allen Heath Xone 96 dj mixer, 2 x Pioneer 2000NXS2 Cdjs and 2 x Technics 1210 (mk 3 or above). What else to wish for? Very short overview of the audience: Well, you cannot know what to expect, but never noticed any bullies, so no crime or etc. Pretty common average modern youth. Unfortunately cannot say almost anything about the bar menu (might be edited later on, because this venue is worth the feedback - guys, we remember the History 🙌). But the bartenders are very affable and that is a pleasure. Two words about sound and lighting system according to 16 Feb 2021on my calendar. The Soundsystem itself isn't bad. If I am not mistaken Keller has 2 x Adamson 17inch Tops, 4 x QSC 15inch Subs and dedicated amplification (sorry never saw the rack so I can't tell you the exact. Owners, post your tech specs on the official web pages - that would give the right audience more information about what to expect). Unfortunately, the system does not always sound right due to the different circumstances. Lighting system - well I do not want to seem harsh, but I have to say that this is just lightning equipment rigged around the area. Personally I cannot call it the system. So this point still needs some improvements. To sum up I would rather make a quick list of advantages and disadvantages. Advantages: - Great potential of the venue - Good electronic music in general - Professional Dj equipment - Very atmospheric outside terrace Disadvantages: - Not good enough calibrated sound system - The absence of the lightning system (the equipment is there, though) - Unpredictable events/audience, but nothing really bad. Do not think that is the bad venue! I rate this venue 3 stars by the February 16 2021, because I think that this is clearly not a bad venue, but still a lot of improvements to be done. Anyway this place is worth checking. So if you are in Kiev, Ukraine and you love electronic music - come by to say Hi. You won't regret!
