A botanical nature monument of local importance, located in the Podolsky district of Kiev (Ukraine). Created January 30, 2001. Area - 4.3 hectares. Land user - garden partnership "Troyanda". It is a resting place for citizens. A botanical natural monument of local importance was created by Decision of the Kiev City Council No. 189/1166 of January 30, 2001. It was created with the aim of preserving, protecting and using the most valuable examples of park construction for aesthetic, educational, environmental, scientific and recreational purposes. On the territory of the natural monument prohibited any economic activity, including those leading to damage to natural complexes. The park was founded in 1850 by Wilhelm Christer, invited from South Saxony to work at the cloth factory of Prince Radziwill in the Radomyshl district of the Kiev province. Having made a fortune, Wilhelm decided to stay on the Kiev land and acquired an estate in the suburbs of Kiev. He founded here the multidisciplinary agricultural enterprise "Gardening and Seeds of V. Christer." In June 2009, after reconstruction, the park was open to visitors. Two ponds were reconstructed, two pedestrian bridges were built, new trees and bushes were planted, 9 thousand m² of lawns were planted, 3 decorative flower beds were arranged, 41 benches and 33 decorative lighting poles were installed. In addition, an automatic watering of lawns is installed. The natural monument is located in the historic area of ​​Windmills. The natural monument is a preserved part of the park complex, where there are centenary trees, alder forest, exotic trees and shrubs, a cascade of 4 ponds. There are several sources in the park. The vegetation of the park includes 25 species. Tree plantations are represented by oak, linden, poplar, elm, ash and willow. Of particular value are 150-year-old chestnuts, 400-year-old oak. 4 species of animals are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine and 10 species of animals are protected by the Berne Convention. Ponds are the habitat of the swan and mallard, as well as the crucian population.

The marker was previously on the territory of the residential complex “Park Misto”, and there is no “Krister's pick”, but let the residents of the reserve “Park Misto” continue to think so. The real slide is located a little further, and this park with ponds was so called by the developer in order to somewhat embellish the reality and uplift housing prices. And if we take into account the closeness of the territory for ordinary passers-by, then let the residents of the Ylity complex continue walking their dogs in this reserve.
