Today we visited this extraordinary and the only museum of the Kosach family in the world! Be sure to take a guide and listen to an extremely interesting story. And you will plunge into the era when Lesya Ukrainka was little, among the exhibits is her first letter to her uncle Mykhailo Drahomanov. There were a lot of impressions from the tour. Entrance tickets are cheap 15-20 UAH. Guide's order 40 hryvnias. The museum also has a book about the museum and magnets and mugs - it's for fans, buy something to remember. I also really liked the interactivity, when you are allowed to touch the exhibits and take pictures with them. This is especially interesting for children. I highly recommend visiting this historic place and touching that time and era!

Classroom Museum The Kosachev family lived in Novograd-Volynskyi for eleven years, six of whom were family members at the Zavadsky House on Zavadsky Street. Olga Drahomanov-Kosach mentioned: "... moved to Zavadsky Street in the fall of 1873, hiring an entire farmstead in Ms Zavodskaya, Polka ... It was the best of our three Svyagil homes, where we, the Kosach, lived: because we were in Zavadsky is a very large, albeit one-storey, house, and to it - a magnificent garden. Also very large. Ancient true lordly residence ... In Zavadsky's house in 1877 on May 26 our second daughter, Olga, was born. We have stayed in Zavadsky for the longest time living in Zviagel. ” 1999 - the year of Helen Bee. On July 31, during the international festival of literature and art "Forest springs", the grand opening of the house of the Museum of the Kosach family took place. Drahomanov Natalia Drahomanov-Bartai. On the wall of the museum is a memorial plaque with a sculpture-bas-relief image: Peter and Olga Kosachi and their three children - Mikhail, Larisa, Olga (sculptor O. Korkushko, architect A. Chernichenko). The purpose of creating a museum is to get acquainted with the spiritual atmosphere of the Kosach-Drahomanov family, its outlook, attitude to their homeland, to its nature, language, customs. Olena Pchilka regarded Ukrainian culture as a distinctive identity - which has the right to life as a separate spiritual layer. She put her worldview into the basis of raising her own children. (Letter to O. Oganovsky from O. Kosach: “I wanted to pour my soul and thoughts into my children and I can say with certainty that I managed to do it…) The main task and direction of the museum staff is to collect, study, store, exhibit and promote materials related to the public, literary and publishing activity of Elena Pilka, PA's professional and public activity. The mower and the life and works of Michael, Lesya, Olga. From the time of its opening until 2002, the director of the museum was Mechislav Ovcharuk. Since 2003, the institution has been managed by Sergei Kutsenko. The museum collections comprise more than 500 pieces of museum objects, among which the main pride is the collection of lifelong editions by Elena Pchylka, M. Drahomanov, Lesya Ukrainka, Mykhaylo Obachny, M. Starytsky (books of the second half of the 19th century - beginning of the 20th century), including: Antonovich V. Drahomanov M. Historical songs of the Little Russian people. - Vol. 1,2. - Kiev: Friesa printing house, 1874. M.Drahomanov. About Ukrainian Cossacks of Tatars and Turks. - Lviv: Society. T.G. Shevchenko, 1876; M. Gogol. Evening / translated by Mikhail Obachny and Lesya Ukrainka. - Lviv, 1885; Lesya Ukrainka. One word. - Kiev: Time, 1908; Lesya Ukrainka. Works (book one). - Kiev: The Bell, 1911; Elena Bee. Autobiography stories. - Kharkov: Harpolograph, 1930. Museum collections are constantly updated. The opening of this house is a huge cultural event in the life of Novograd-Volynskyy, which provided the preconditions for the creation of a cultural and educational center that helps to satisfy the spiritual and cultural needs of the city's residents. Since 2004 the Museum of the Kosachev Museum has been working: uniting the creative intellectuals of the city. Yu. Kowalski, who unites poets, writers and composers of the city of Novograd-Volynsky in his ranks. The local poet, public figure Valentina Ksendzuk manages the work of the association, Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine Mykola Ivanovych Martyniuk coordinates and directs the work of the association. A number of different events have been carried out by the members of the association: Meetings of poets, writers of the city with students of schools and students of educational institutions; Presentation of books by local authors; Evenings of remembrance and worship; Evenings of "In the circle of friends" meeting. The association has its own children's literary studio (headed by Tatiana Ermakova), the students of the studio are trained in professional recitation of literary works. Temporary exhibitions of applied and fine arts are housed in the halls of the Museum of the Kosach Family for the purpose of attracting different segments of society to the art world and for the purpose of supporting national culture.
