The gallery is located in the old cellar, where in the pre-Soviet times there was a beer restaurant. The city is unique thanks to the preservation of authentic century-old murals with German inscriptions. The gallery hosts exhibitions of contemporary artists. As for the climate, it is probably not the best choice for paintings, as it can be damp in the basement.
