The Afghan Glory Park, or Afghan Park, was laid out in memory of the internationalist soldiers from Genichesk who served during the operation of a limited contingent of Soviet troops in the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan. Here there is a memorial to the Genich people who died in the DRA, an Orthodox chapel is located here, and there is also a memorial stone to the Chernobyl liquidator. There is a memorial stone to submariners and a foundation stone of the alley of military glory in honor of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Genichesk from the Nazi invaders in 1943. It is convenient to walk in the park with children, there is a playground. The park is kept clean. Nice place to visit

It's nice that history is remembered and honored here, without attracting someone else to the internationalist soldiers. Well-groomed alley. Lots of vegetation, benches along the alley. Young trees are planted nearby. Handsomely!
