Heroes 9) their cat in a relatively normal state, only with a lack of appetite, slight diarrhea and sometimes vomiting. The examination passed very quickly, the diagnosis was rather vague: diarrhea, maybe pancreatitis, liver, kidneys ... But there is no threat to life. Of course, I am not a doctor, but how can I make an accurate diagnosis and prescribe treatment without doing any tests, no X-rays, or ultrasound? Treatment was prescribed in the form of injections: ascorbic, glucose and some other vitamin, Metoclopramide (Reglan), No-Spa. Trusting in the competence of the doctor, they asked him to immediately make the cat given injections. After 10–15 minutes, already at home, the cat began to behave inadequately: confusion, anxiety, shortness of breath. Then it became even worse: the cat lay and breathed heavily, opening its mouth, trying to get up and immediately fell. They quickly called this doctor and explained the situation, to which he (very calmly) said to buy and prick her 0.4 ml of Prednisolone. They did it, but it didn’t get any better for the animal, only worse. We tried to call him again, but our “miracle doctor” just stopped responding to calls ... “THANKS” TO YOU KRYVORUK BASTARD! ... At night, the cat died in terrible agony! ... I suppose that the cause of the lethal outcome could be Metoclopramide, which is used as an anti-emetic, but has a whole bunch of contraindications and side effects. About the "sideways" I have already read on the Internet. So such a devil was to prescribe a deliberately dumb drug ?! Maybe there was too much of a dose, or intolerance ... Whatever it was, but as a result of the negligence of this person, we lost our Pet! P.S. Dear pet owners, be extremely careful when choosing a doctor for your pets! Now there are a lot of "eateries" with the loud name "Veterinary Clinic", with staff whose qualifications can only be guessed and who think only about money. They say: "Self-treatment can be dangerous"! Yes maybe. But even more dangerous are self-confident doctors, hands, which, alas, lately abound! And the basic rule of medicine is “Do no harm”, probably few people now remember! I wish you all good health!
