To us, Ukrainians with the citizenship of another country, Ukrainian legislation creates many obstacles that we need to go through to formally and officially stay and live in Ukraine. I, a UK citizen, had to go through many legal processes on my first visit to Ukraine while I could be legally in my home country. Without the professional and effective legal advice and determination of the Legalaid lawyers, this would not have been possible. As Ukrainian legislation is constantly changing in opaque for "normal" people way state agencies do not always have the relevant legislation and submit incorrect and defective information regarding certain processes, deadlines, documents and more. It is therefore very grateful that after 4 years of being in Ukraine, migration department "Legalaid", namely, Irina Shumska, then assist and resolve all difficulties related to immigration and legal requirements and quickly and purposefully solve all problems.
