Do it. Wait for more. Send the result to the doctor. Nobody answers you. The calls too. In two (!) Days the doctor writes off the list of medicines and will scold you for impatience. (Some medicines are homeopathic, others have significant side effects and should be taken under the supervision of a doctor) Go for a consultation with an immunologist, who explains to you that the tests (prescribed by ENT) and, accordingly, the treatment itself are inadequate. Pass the correct tests. Find another ENT who can treat chronic tonsillitis. Conclusion: wasted money, and the saddest time and health.
