What a nice facility for a small town to have access to. It doesn't feel small-town at all.

New to Crossett, I have found the public library to be both inviting and the librarians to be professional and helpful.nnCrossett should be proud of their library and support the services provided.

Crossett Public Library is one of the gems of this small, sleepy town. It not only has the standard offerings of books and other publications, but also provides patrons an opportunity to learn about the history of the town, and possibly even a bit of their own as well. Their Genealogy and Local History room is chock full of interesting facts, ranging from old census records to microfilms of newspapers, and practically anything else you would want to know about Crossett, but didn't know to ask. The children's book selection is large, and makes finding books for your children to enjoy easy, no matter what their age. The reading nook in the children's section is comfy and inviting, strewn with colorful pillows, situated in front of a big window that looks out onto beautiful green trees. There are more places to get quiet as well, with comfortable furniture everywhere, and study rooms that keep the sound out--or in. They have many computers for public access, if that's your cup of tea. Even their Periodicals room is above standard, with overstuffed chairs and natural lighting, perfect for catching up on reading the latest edition of your favorite magazine. I recommend anyone in the area stop by and check out the best source of entertainment Crossett has to offer. See you there!
