Around Portland Tours

I enjoyed my tour of the Gorge. I preferred not driving nor planning which sites to visit. We got to take in the views along the way and back. Our guide provided info and context to what we were seeing in a natural way. If our group had been more engaging I'm sure our guide would have provided more information but we were a quiet bunch that morning.nnIf you haven't seen tall waterfalls before like me or enjoy open landscapes you can enjoy being in awe for a good while, take pictures and explore for about a half hour at each stop. I thought it was a pretty good deal.

Absolutely the highlight of my trip to Portland! Super friendly and knowledgeable guide on my waterfall tour. Even though I was the only one booked that day we still went out and just had the best time.

We were so happy to find a tour operator in Portland who is still offering fun experiences during Covid times and has clearly put substantial thought into safety.nnThat being said, although there were other people on this tour and it required car travel, the entire vibe was chill and didn't make us feel like we were about to risk our lives to see waterfalls IN A PANDEMIC.nnWe did our waterfall tour with Sarah as well as two bike tours with her partner Edwin during our visit to Portland. They were both incredibly chill and friendly, and they made it possible to experience a ton of Portland during the three and half days we were there.nnThe five waterfalls we saw were gorgeous, and Sarah had a lot of interesting information to share about the history of the falls as well as the scenic road we took as we drove between them.nnThe end of the tour features a monument to the road honoring the civil engineer who designed it, which was cool to see given how much information we had learned about the history throughout the journey.nnThis tour was my favorite thing we did on our trip, which is saying something because we did a lot! I have a new appreciation for waterfalls and now want to check out more of them.

Fantastic, safe and knowledgeable guide. Went on the roses and donuts tour and got to see a fantastic amount of downtown Portland. Highly recommend!

I did the beer tour and despite there only being one guest, Sarah still did the tour. I think this is a real solid!! I am an introvert by nature but Sarah made the tour excellent understanding her clientele. She is a great host! If I could give six stars I would! I am an awkward person to be around and she made me feel very comfortable. I am sure she we would be great with larger groups...she understands introverts and extroverts!
