Lafayette Mayor's Office

Approximately two years ago there was an incidence in front of my house at 2411 main street . Involving two young black men. I watched as one of the young men became very aggressive with the officer. The officer handled the situation quite professionally and humanly. I was extremely impressed. I would like to tell the mayor and police chief the full story and maybe another or two. With stories like mine and, I'm sure others you could help build the respect for the police back. We need it!nnRex L.Hurst

Can't get ahold of anyone for something really needed and can't get anywhere else to solve the problem. Went up the chain of command. Just like the military, chain of command does not work. They think they are above everyone and everything. UPDATE: AFTER I posted this review, I did get a call back. The city is going to try and take care of the problem. Went from 1 star to 5....
