Farabee Family Dental Care

Wow! This is not a dentist. It is more than that. It’s a family. I was so pleased with how the team communicates with each other. I liked how each employee was really good at what they do from billing and insurance lady to the X-ray lady and even the numbing specialist. The rooms are so clean and inviting with a TV to watch in each room!! Also how the Dr. speaks so calmly and respectfully to his staff is something to be noted. The Dr was patient, clam, experienced and knowledgeable. He took his time explaining every step and ensuring I was doing okay. I was super nervous for my root canal but the team at Farabee made it calming and relaxing... we chatted about dogs and how much we loved coffee!!! When I got cold they even brought me a blanket!! And at the end of it all the Dr. gave me a card with a Starbucks gift card inside!! I am happy to say that they have achieved in making me a life long member of the Family at Farabee!

I've had a plethora of dental experiences in my life and several at Farabee Family Dental Care. I don't take the best care of my teeth, my genetics don't help, and neither does my dry mouth. Prior to going to Farabee, I'd had several fillings at other places that lasted only 8-14 months before they fell out and had to be replaced. Prior to going to Farabee I called around to several dentists in the area and wanted to go somewhere that would standby their work. I think I ended up getting fillings replaced in all but one of my molars and a couple other teeth. I'm not the easiest of patients and can develop some pretty high (bordering--or past bordering-- on unreasonable) expectations. There were a few things that I wanted that they simply couldn't do. BUT Dr. Schroeder took the time to explain (medically) to me why they couldn't be done. I had lots of follow up questions and he was patient, kind, and professional the whole time. He answered all of my questions until I was able to agree that the things I was hoping for just weren't medically possible. That, folks, is impressive. I didn't just give up and accept. I agreed. At any rate, this was all 3-4 years ago and not a single one of the fillings has fallen out. If I still lived in the area, I'd 100% go back. I'm searching for a dentist in my new city and was reading some reviews and realized that it would be helpful if someone were to post how long their fillings had lasted. Most people who are satisfied don't post 3-4 years out.nI also am extremely sensitive to the local anesthetic and he came up with a modified anesthetic protocol to help. (One of the things I HATE about getting work done is that I'm literally numb and chewing my cheeks for 8+ hours. The new protocol dropped that in half, while still providing sufficient analgesia so that I didn't feel a thing.)

I was refered to this dentist office and I’m so glad I came! Melisa did the cleaning and took my x-ray. She was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and thorough. I have healthy teeth and have Never had such a great cleaning! Dr. Schroeder was very good with verifying what had been done and reinspecting! The hygienist was very nice. She did an excellent job. I had a question about braces. They answered me with how they do them and how much it would cost me. I would recommend them. They have later hours that accommodated my schedule. Thanks

Absolutely fantastic. I went to Farabee Family Dental for a second opinion because I was told a needed a root canal. That was not the case turns out I just needed fillings. A really swell staff. I do however wonder if there is an emergency number.
