City of God Church

I’ve been attending this church while being a student at Purdue and I love it. The sermons that Pastor Eric gives are always so applicable to life and always help to deepen my understanding of the Bible. They are very warm, welcoming, and accommodating.

My wife and I have been to Sunday services here twice this year while visiting our daughter at Purdue.nThey have two services and the early one is attended mostly by college age people. It was great to see so many young people together worshiping the Lord. The worship is excellent and the teaching was Biblical and relevant.nWe both decided that if we lived in the Lafayette area we would definitely make City of God our home church.

My church home for four years while at Purdue. It's a Bible following sort of people who seriously want to know and love God. Pastor Eric has a serious gift for teaching from scripture (very expository preaching style) while keeping the material relevant and practical. Formerly a college kid church, it's definitely growing up and a lot of families are involved now. Community groups are done well and mine helped me grow in my faith while becoming some of my closest friends. Definitely give this place a look!

City of God Church is a very inviting community in which strong christ followers live and encourage each other! If you're a college student I would reccomend going to the first service as many college student do, but if you're looking for a more diverse age range, second service is the one for you!
