This is a great little bookstore. Tamsin, the owner, knows her books and is the kind of book lover everyone should know. She calls me and many others by my name when I walk in. My only beef is that I'm mostly a non-fiction person and Main Street books leans toward fiction. That's true of just about all book stores, though.

Remember when your town was made up of small, locally owned shops where the proprietors knew you by name and visiting their businesses felt like visiting friends? That is exactly the experience you get at Main Street Books. They have a great selection and are great at recommending the perfect gift for a tough relative to shop for. Huge selection, but it isn’t overwhelming. Amazing location. Cozy, friendly atmosphere.
Great local bookstore with a surprising wide selection of books. Friendly and helpful owners and comfy spots to browse your favorite new find. They are happy to order in anything they don’t have in person and there are always treasures to be found.
Community events that are there really create the accepting environment we all deserve. AND what a stunning collection of books!!
