As good as I remember. Lived a block away some 30+ years ago and my daughter and I were semi-regular customers. It was a big treat. Since I was in the area today, I decided to drive by my old home. In doing that, I noticed that Taste Tickler is still there. The owner (new since I left the area) and I had a nice chat. A little giddy, I ordered the sandwich that was a favorite. It was fabulous. During tough times, it's nice to know some good things from the past still exist. It really made my day.
Terrific!!! Great food at a great price. They really give you a good amount of sandwich filling and toppings, it's not just stuffed with lettuce to bulk it up. The service is great, friendly and quick. Highly recommend if you're looking for a sub in Portland!
This is a great, local sub shop. Friendly service. The subs are excellent! And you're buying from your community rather than some corporate behemoth.
I literally love this restaurant and the staff in there! I've been coming here since 2014 when I was in high school since its almost a tradition for kids who come from Grant high school to eat here. BEST SUBS IN TOWN. My go to is the BBQ Chicken and the Bulgolgi Subs 10 inches. They will never let you down on quality and service! Thank God for Taste Tickler.
The best sandwich in Portland. Amazing staff. I've been going here for more than 10 years and would recommend to anyone. Taste Tickler is a staple of NE Portland!
