JERRY GREGORY (01/04/2020)
It would be such a better place to attend Mass if the priests at this parish would teach solid Catholic teaching at the pulpit like it would be taught from the Baltimore Catechism. Instead, you will hear the typical modernist type of theology ever so present in many parishes that is borderline heretical or just plain erroneous. Fancy big Church (protestant like) with lots of people trying to be overly nice and inviting like a big party. However, do not expect to see many (if any) genuflecting when entering or leaving and/or much sense of reverence for the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Does not seem that many realize that the Mass is a sacrifice taking place, i.e, The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. They use an abundance of lay people to administer the Sacrament of The Holy Eucharist. Many times alter girls lots and lots of hugging during the sign of peace. Constant singing of modern songs for the most part making it hard to find silence to focus on God and prayer. In there defense they at least have not removed the Tabernacle to some hidden place. If you want to go to confession here, get there 5 minutes before it starts or else you may not get to. Not because of a line but because so few go. And, if there is no one constantly coming in to the confessional the priest will shut down confession early and leave. Also, with confessions they do not get in line, they leave a pew near the confessional. When attempting to go to confession it is very disordered trying to determine who is waiting to confess and who is not, if any. On Sunday, you will also find that around 1/3 of the those attending the Mass leave before the Mass has ended, walking out during or just after communion is being administered. This is not appropriate and scandalous to younger ones.
