Church of the Heartland - Starke County

I love it. I'm excited to go to Church. I started going 2 mo. ago. I fit right in. Hoodies n flannels welcome. We rock out to 3-4 songs. Heath preaches n breaks it down for you to understand. N he has jokes ud83eudd23

The church and service it's self is awesome. But when you get up to go to the bathroom or outside there are two specific people that will follow you( depending on who you are or how you look). It makes you feel like they are stalking you. I have been going there since before that pastor took over. They use to be open to any and everyone and not look down on anyone but unfortunately I can't say that anymore. Other people in the congregation has voiced their concerns and encounters about their experience to me as well

Nice welcoming atmosphere. Pastor Heath is a nonjudgmental down to earth man who teaches with the right amount of seriousness and humor. He and his wife Misty work side by side to make the whole experience great for everyone. Wonderful Teen and Children's programs. The talented band plays updated music which is very enjoyable. If you are looking for a spiritually uplifting way to start your week or if you just have curiosities that you want answers to, this is the place to be. Its a nondenominational church and ALL are welcome. Come and see for yourself.
