I want to thank the fire station for allowing us to blow up our water ballons on this horribly hot day and not only lending us there hose but giving us 2 fireman hats for the little boys waiting for the water ballons. Community connection is so key and this firehouse showed some amazing community care today. I can not thank you enough.

I would like to Thank the Fireman that helped my husband and me when we came to Mishawaka. We were looking for a Rehb Center my sister is in. When we enter the city (coming from Fort Wayne, IN) we had no idea were the Rehab center was. So we stopped at the first place we came to , a Fire Station. The Firefighter and I'm sorry I didn't get his name, was very helpful. His directions were right on and made it easy to fine. He even was kind enough to let my husband use the restroom. If this is a sample of the people of your city workers you have a wonderful work force. Also what little we saw of your city we thought it to be clean and most beautiful.THANK YOU ! I am thankful for Mishawaka Fire Department, and for my mom. Peyton was trying to get her phone off of her selfie holder, and it snapped closed pinching the palm of her hand in. Mom came over and we tried to help get it off, but Peyton had a panic attack. So mom said let’s get In the car and we would go the fire station, the firemen were gentle, and talked to her, and all of the sudden it was off. Thank God. ❤ufe0fud83dude92ud83dudc69ud83cudffb‍ud83dude92. This is from PAMELA TUTTLE. Posted on fb

I'm sure they are more than adequate at putting out fires, but don't let your car break down in their parking lot! I had a flat tire and parked in their lot, in a legal space and they threatened to have it towed after a day or two. I think it was because my car was not as nice as theirs. And I live in the area also.

I am so thankful for all of the firefighters but specifically the ones that work at stations 1 and 3.nThis last spring the business I work for had an event for young children. It was fire safety month and we usually preach to them the importance of fire safety. We thought it would be so neat and more exciting to hear from real firefighters. They even showed showed up early with coloring book handouts and hats :) THEN brought an ambulance so the kids could explore a fire truck AND ambulance. I'm pretty sure it made a lasting impression on every single one of those 3-6 year olds!nnToday I called station 1 with an issue I have needed help with but every place I had called just gave me another number to call or suggested calling the fire station (I had already called multiple fire stations and they told me they couldn't help) the man on the phone gave me the number for station 3 and said they would help me. I am so appreciative for the things these people put on the line for our safety and that when I called to ask for something that is probably an annoyance to them... they still were very kind.
