Easy to get to. Lots of activities. Beautiful lake with large beach area (when open). Canoe and kayak rentals or bring your own. I hear the fishing is pretty good, too. Biking? Hiking? YES. Great bike and hike trails with several skill levels. Special events occurring throughout the year. Just a really nice, clean park with lots of room. Rent a campsite or a cabin. They're not on top of each other and picnic tables, grills, and restrooms are provided. Plenty of parking as well. Rained on us a little this past weekend and still had a great time!! If you like to be outdoors, stop by this park and spend some time. Well worth it.
Nice nature center...good trails...clean playground for young children...and the prairie maze added more fun.
Love this place! Very pretty and clean. Peaceful, friendly people and overall a great weekend spent here. Will definitely be back again. And doing Halloween trick or treating here is amazing btw, very awesome experience.
Love the trails the views are amazing. A great place to experience nature at it best. Plenty of options to walk different trails or bike many different paths. A great place to spend the day with your friends and family.
We only spent half the day there but it was absolutely phenomenal. We hiked trails 1 and 2 but there's so much more to do there. We'll definitely come back to experience all Potato Creek State Park has to offer.
