Best spot for EDM music in Portland and the surrounding area... Many amazing memories here including a few autographs from the perfomers!!

Bought tickets in advance for an event at The Whiskey Bar last night. Event page online said doors were supposed to open at 9pm. Showed up at around 9:20pm to find the bar closed and doors locked. Several other people planning to attend the event were standing outside the bar also confused. Terrible experience.

I typically go on Friday nights, and the few times I've been there have never let me down. The music and atmosphere are great. My only complaint is the line for drinks can be very long, but it's worth a check out.

Very limited area for stage view, poor acoustics if you're on the other side of the brick wall dividers, and the last time I was there they had no free water stations - you have to wait in line at the bar and pay for it. That is a major safety issue and below the standards of most event/club spaces in Portland.

The staff is always welcoming and the nightlife is always fun, Whisky has my approval.
