While traveling to Portland last week, this was the first stop I made as I was in town. This place had a dark and dim atmosphere good for if you don't really like too much brightness in a room. The menu had a wide variety of items including breakfast, brunch, and dinner. Also they have a wide variety of drinks and alcoholic drinks available since they are partially a bar. I ordered the chicken strip plate and my goodness that's probably one of the best chicken strip plates I have ever had anywhere! I'm sure their other food items are just as great! Great service and friendly workers as well! Thank you for a great experience!

R-E-A-L-L-Y good. Their hospitality was excellent. It's too bad we're closing down again. Some food/dishes cal for dining in. Will be back once they open up

Been coming here for a few years, owner, staff, and patrons are great. Good food, a secluded cafe side, a bar side, video lottery, pool, pinball... What more can I ask from a local southeast spot. You can have intimate seclusion, or choose to be social. Hands down, one of my favorite place that truly feels like you're family regardless of who you are.

The good here is down to earth comfort food, better than those other chain diners. However, beyong the food service is the real driver here. Sarah L. Is the best server and why I continue coming back time and time again. Keep up the great work you all!

This place is great. The service is good, the people are friendly, the food is tasty and the drinks are strong. My Father's Place is definitely a breakfast and booze stop worth hitting.
