Great place to stay very well maintained .treated with alot of respect every time I come here atleast once a week .the owner is very nice and always has had a room for me when I ask for one to be reserved.wouldnt stay anywhere else in southbend
Manager Ric is a great guy. The place is well run and reasonable.
I went with my husband to catch a game at Notre Dame and stayed here for one night. Excellent price. The hotel is bit old but is very well kept and incredibly clean. The hallway doesn’t have heat but it wasn’t a problem since every other area is warm. The room was warm when we got there and very comfortable (we went during winter). We had already plenty of towels, soap, shampoo and coffee in our room. Good TV with plenty of channels and good wifi. Breakfast is simple but more than enough, it had waffles, pastry, bread, cereal, fruit and coffee. The owner is very kind and helpful. Definitely would recommend this place and if I’m ever back I would probably stay here again.
Inexpensive hotel. Friendly and helpful man at the front desk.
Interaction with man at the front desk was extremely rude. Couldn’t answer a simple question (when asked politely) and accused me of bringing in bed bugs, when that was far from the truth, only because I inquired about their pest control / refund policy if I found anything. Hotels and motels are notorious for such things, so I was being proactive. Could see from his handling of the conversation it would have been a terrible experience if I continued further. Had zero people / customer service skills. Said he didn’t want to give me a room for simply bringing up the topic and checking if they were in fact pest-free. No possibility of a refund if I inspected the mattress and found evidence of bed-bugs... probably would have blamed me without even laying in it.
