Clay Church

Clay Church is very welcoming and friendly. The traditional service is just that...traditional, and I find it to be very worshipful and meaningful. I enjoy the hymns and choir. The Pastor's sermons are Biblical and pertain to daily life.

My wife and I moved to the area in 2009. We visited many churches and Clay was an immediate fit. We have been members and regular attendees for nearly 10 years. We now have 4 children and love the Faith Works and Fire House programs (youth programs). It is clear our children are learning to know and love God, themselves, and others.

Just loved the friendship and brotherly/ sisterly reception. When in Sunbury, this my Church.

I started coming to Clay as a part of a mom's group. I wasn't looking for a new church, but I found myself impressed with Clay. The amount of outreach they do in the community is unreal. Huge food pantry twice a week with a cafe, clothes pantry, etc. Backpack event every fall where kids are allowed to pick out their own backpacks, coats, & school supplies, as well as receiving shoes dental & eye exams, and more. This is just a small example of how Clay reaches out to the community.nnI decided it'd be worth a shot to check out the worship experience on Sunday. I went, and we've been going every since, for over 5 years.nThere are two worship services and experiences. The 9:15 service has a full choir & is more traditional. The 10:45 service is contemporary with current praise and worship music. The preaching at both services is on point and applicable to my daily life. During service there's a great programming for my kids too, with Faithworks for elementary kids and the Firehouse for middle and high school students.nnI also became involved in a small group with my family. We've been living out our faith and doing life together, and I feel like I have a family within the church who care for and look out for me. We have opportunities to spend time together at the monthly family events Clay puts on, as well as at our Circle small group meetings, which are spent in fellowship, study, service & outreach.nnClay isn't the biggest church or the most flashy, but it is the one that feels most like home. I love how my whole family is excited to go to church every Sunday.nnIncluding some photos from recent sermon series, December family event, and Christmas :)

Phenomenal Good Friday service. Music was fantastic and the message was clear about the sacrifice our Lord and Savior game to us. Well done.
