The audio mixing was terrible. The center channel was all wonky

If you can go to Movies 14, they have better seats. AMC 16 has better snacks and sells alcoholic beverages.

*EDIT* I have been back here since they reopened after covid. In regard to my previous statement about how they could use a renovation....they have since done so, and the place looks amazing.nnI live very close to Cinemark 14 in Mishawaka but still choose to make the drive out to AMC 16 on the south side. Mostly for there being stadium seating in every theatre. The seats aren't as cushy as the renovated Cinemark 14, but the stadium seating is my personal preference on that matter. Also the ticket prices are very reasonable ($5-$8), which I believe is cheaper than the standard rate at Cine14. Plus they have AMC Stubs if you're a member. I recommend paying the $10 a year for that service....you get $5 for every $50 you spend, and you get to skip ahead of the rest of the line. Helpful when you're running late for your flick. Also the employees are very nice in my experience. And I've never experienced a technical problem with any movies there (seen easily 100 there over the years, if not more). The place could use a renovation but it's not like grimy or anything. I really like it.

AMC South Bend 16 is by far the BEST cinema I have been to and experience! I can confirm it's better than Cinemark 14 in almost every way. Tickets are really cheap here, and so are concessions. (kind of) I've been to small time cinemas who charge more for popcorn and drinks than AMC. AMC have varieties of sizes for popcorn and drinks, with optional things to add to the popcorn. You can add as much butter as you want for free, and a HUGE variety of drinks, as they have the touch screen coke machines, with all coke products, and all flavors available in the States. The Stadium Seating is incredible, really gives you an awesome feel, especially in 3D! Staff here are amazing, professional, and very friendly. They are always up to date on movie releases, even premiering movies a night or two before release date, which is always fun to see a movie before anyone else has. Such a great experience, I would recommend seeing big time movies at this location. (Like Endgame or Rise of Skywalker like movies) If you wanna see a movie, hit up AMC South Bend 16, as it is an amazing experience!
