Love this place learn alot

I have been coming to this wonderful place for over 45 years.I was always tent camping most of the time.So one summer day in 1987 i came here to camp on my Honda V-65 Magna cycle and all i had was a new pup tent....a new sleeping bag....and i barrowed my moms small jam box/tape player.I dropped off my camp gear and set it up.....then went for a beer and grocery run in Winnimac.I was camping at lot 100 right across from the showers and modern bathrooms.So friday evening....i go for a shower......come back to my tent and go to unzip the door and hear a loud snarling growl....that scared the doo doo out of me.I asked a guy next to me if i could barrow a flashlight....and explained what i was hearing.I was looking for a tear in the sidewall of my brand new tent....and then.......and a raccoon had jumped out of my tents little screen window in the back..It took its claw and slit the screen mesh open and crawled into my tent because i left an open bag of Combos pretzel snacks on top of the cooler.The next day i went to town again and bought a sewing kit and fixed the screen mesh.The next night the coons were coming up to my tent for hand outs and i threw them some pretzels that i didn't care to eat anymore.The last time i went camping here with my lady and our little dog Jeni.We had the best weather that day in June of 2015.What a great place to just veg out and kick back.Till next time.!!!!!

Always gotta love anything that has to do with nature.

Had fun making wild bird food. She was really nice.
